Introducing Chic-OOO-BerFest 2023

Our Chic-OOO-BerFest is our All-Ages Oktoberfest celebrates this German Harvest Holiday with Festive Music, Bier, Oktoberfest Games, & Food

Our Oktoberfest Party Band, the Alpine Meister will perform party favorites, traditional Oompah Music, interactive Oktoberfest Dances. Woven in with Games and a Dance Party. Our other entertainers, Choompah Oompah, and an awesome local Chico Party Band

The MC entertainment is led by our very own Fest-Meisters Hans and Franz. OKTO Bands include a Fun Party Band, Choompah, Chico's own Oompah band.

Brats, Pretzels, Brews, Vendors, a Kid's Zone, Oktoberfest Games, and an Adult Playground of Fun!

This all-ages celebration invites friends & families

to enjoy a day of fun and frolic.

Yes, BIER is a BIG part of this annual celebration.

There will be a few local breweries serving their German-Style - Harvest Beers. Some of the names of these German Beers are Märzen or Märzenbier (German for March) Dunkel, Fiest-Bier & German Dortmund and Oktoberfest Beer.

Food is another big part of every Oktoberfest Celebration. The most popular foods are Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, Cold Slaw, and of course the Bavarian Pretzel. Here are a few food options for you:

What is a traditional Oktoberfest meal?

Beer Brats – German bratwurst simmered in a malty beer and onions sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes as a plated entree or on soft pretzel bun. Schweinshaxe – fall-off-the-bone tender Bavarian roasted pork hocks with deliciously crispy skin and a beer gravy. Music is very important to a great Oktoberfest!

We are proud to import our friends from a fun Party Band, A German-Style DJ and our very own Chico Oompah Band.

Now, let's face it as modern-day Americans, very few of us can spend a whole day frolicking to German Polka Music... Ya ? ,,, YA!

So, our Alpine Meisters Band plays some modernized polka and some absolutely great party music. In combination with Noah from Know Escapes and his solo Oktoberfest medley, our Chico Oompah Band and a DJ to play for us , we have found the right combination of music!

ACTIVITIES, ATTRACTIONS, FUN and GAMES for the WHOLE FAMILY!

Fun and Games are a huge part of every Oktoberfest Celebration.

Our BergerMeisters have been running Oktoberfest events for over 19 years and we have lots of Activities, Attractions and Games lined up for .

In addition to Live Music, DJ Dance Party, there will be a ton of Games. From the Ceremonial Tapping of the Keg, to the infamous Chicken Dance, to the Ein Prosit - Prost Dance, to Stein Hoisting Contests, to the famous Sausage Toss, to the Flederling Dance, to Bier Chugging, to Musical Chairs, Keg Bowling and an Oktoberfest Scavenger Hunt and so much more ... FeistMeister Hans and BurgerMeister Franz will keep you entertained with so many activities that you will be "Played Out" by the end of the day.

As the story goes, King Ludwig I wanted his son (who was quite "unique", to marry to keep his kingdom strong. So, against his son's wishes, an arranged marriage with Princess Theresa took place.
